Der Cripple

I spent Tuesday in Leeds jamming with Al, daN and Jim which was very cool and we got some very good training done - I even got daN to do some conditioning! I did feel a twinge in my back when doing a high running jump but apart from a slight stiffness that night it was okay.
Thursday was spent in Wakey with Ben, Joe, daN and a couple of his mates joined in for a bit. Was also very cool and again got some good stuff done. Staying away from big precisions because of my back.

Friday Came and I did a sesh in the gym (again staying clear of my back) and then ended up at a house party where under the influence I ended up basically picking a girl up and my back just 'went' - I actually felt it go pop :|

I went to work Sat and my back held up okay and didn't cause me too much greif even when bending over so I headed into town after. I met the guys at Morrisons and quickly discovered what movents did and did not hurt my back... I even went as far as doing a backtuck my back was feeling that good :s
I was restricted to simple vaults, balancing and climbups hehe
This wasn't too much of a downer but as we moved on to a previously overlooked spot I saw some new things I had to try out and although they were still vaults and climbups they needed a lot of pace and 5 mins after doing them I could barely stand up my back was that bad! It kept twitching where I had pulled it and then because of the surge of pain I tensed up making it worse. Needless to say pretty much all the days activities were over for me.

I still managed to bail outside Yumyum's though grasing my face nicely :|

Since Saturday I have spent 99% of my time either sat down or laid down, I haven't even been able to make it to college because my back is so sore on a morning!
I am now on my third day of complete rest (though I have done 100 press ups - doesn't count :P) and it sucks bigtime as the weather outside is amazing and many break up from school sometime this week.

My plan is to rest until sat and then see how things are, I may be up for some light training but probably wont and will be stuck filming instead.

...Anyways I have finally got my London footage uploaded, though there sn't much to it, I did so much when I was there and I filmed so little :(

- I did stick the two cat pass precisions - just not on film
- And the reason I didn't get my arms straight at the end was because I was so fooked.

^^ My excuses :)

I have also uploaded pretty much all the clips of myself I have collected over the last few weeks, some good and worthy of putting in a sampler, some not.

And finally...

Jamie spotted this at the end of Sat's jam, he tried it once or twice and decided he couldn't make it. However as he was walking away from it I told him he could and told him to try harder, so he did and surprisingly enough he made it... He was then going to walk away again but before he did so I got him to repeat it over until he had the transition into the climbup very quick and smooth, after a few attempts I got the camera out and as you see he does it pretty damn well! Not bad from someone who said they couldn't make it in the first place nevermind do it so fast!
- I just wish Jamie and others like Jamie would do this without me pushing them to do it. If I wasn't there Jamie would have walked away from that spot knowing he couldn't make it = uncool.

- Just a little lesson for all you guys in Leeds who lack confidense, yes?

Peace everyone.
